1. Material Specifications & Thermal Tolerances
All product specifications—including Al2O3 percentage, Bulk Density (BD), Cold Crushing Strength (CCS), Pyrometric Cone Equivalent (PCE), and Refractoriness Under Load (RUL)—are based on standardized laboratory testing (ASTM, DIN, IS, ISO). Due to raw mineral sorting and kiln firing characteristics, physical and chemical parameters are subject to standard manufacturing tolerances indicated on official Certificates of Analysis (CoA).
2. Quotations & Technical Advice
Quotations provided by Alfa Refractories are valid for the duration specified in the quotation document. Technical suggestions provided by our engineering team are recommendations based on reported operating parameters. The buyer remains responsible for verifying final refractory material suitability for their specific kiln, ladle, or furnace installation environment.
3. Custom PCPF & Pre-Cast Shapes
Manufacturing of Pre-Cast Pre-Fired (PCPF) blocks and custom refractory shapes begins only after explicit client approval of technical engineering drawings. Modifications requested after mold fabrication or casting initiation will incur additional pattern and material costs.
4. Delivery, Dispatch & Force Majeure
Delivery timelines are estimates calculated from receipt of confirmed purchase order and payment terms. Alfa Refractories is not liable for dispatch delays resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including extreme weather, transportation strikes, mineral raw material supply disruptions, or government restrictions.
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including product photos, technical documentation, branding, and logos—is the intellectual property of Alfa Refractories Ltd. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is strictly prohibited.
6. Limitation of Liability
Alfa Refractories Ltd. shall not be held liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from improper refractory storage, incorrect site installation, thermal shock exceeding rated operational limits, or furnace operating temperatures beyond stated product refractoriness.
7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Morbi / Wankaner, Gujarat, India.
